Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the AMC Randhurst 12 in Mount Prospect, the AMC Streets of Woodfield 20 in Schaumburg, and the CMX CineBistro Wheeling Town Center in Wheeling. Soon thereafter, parent company CMX Cinemas filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing business troubles brought on by the pandemic.
